COVID-19 Updates: Providing Safer Customer Service

The safety and wellbeing of our customers and employees remains our #1 priority. With the recent CDC recommendation that fully vaccinated individuals no longer need to wear a mask or social distance indoors, we are updating our mask/face covering policy to align with this recommendation, subject to local laws. For customers and teammates who are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, masks/face coverings and social distancing is still required. Customers who choose not to come into the store can continue to use our enhanced in-store health and safety practices and safer service options.

At Bridgestone Retail Operations, the safety and wellbeing of our customers and employees continues to be our #1 priority. Beginning Thursday, July 30th, and continuing until further notice, face coverings will now be required in all stores. This precaution is in addition to our enhanced in-store health and safety practices and safer service options.
We will also be providing complimentary face masks for anyone entering without a face covering.
If you would prefer to not enter a store, please take advantage of one of our safer service options including quick and easy Curbside Drop-off and select Contact-Free services.
Our goal is to continue offering a safer service experience for each and every one of our customers.

A Message to Our Neighbors:
We are committed as ever to our neighborhoods nationwide, and take our role as an essential service provider seriously. With the safety and wellbeing of our customers and employees as our #1 priority, we will be temporarily providing several revised service experiences for our customers.
The services below are in addition to our already enhanced health and safety practices in place across our stores, including limiting the number of people in the front of our stores to no more than 10, and implementing social distancing.
If you would prefer to not enter our store, quick and easy Curbside Drop-off is now available at all locations.
- Simply drop-off your vehicle in the designated curbside area.
- Place your keys in provided Ziploc bag and call us at the provided number to discuss your needs.
- Leave your bagged key in the key drop, and our team will take care of the rest!
- Once your car is ready, it will be wiped down/sanitized including the key. You can even request that we place the sanitized, bagged key in your car while you stand 6ft away.
- Contact free checkout options are also available over the phone.
Our team can perform the following services Contact-Free, meaning they can be performed without our employees entering your vehicle. In addition, several of these contact-free services can be performed while you remain in your vehicle, in our designated Contact-Free service areas.

The safety of our customers and our employees is our top priority. That’s why, as of Sunday, March 22, Bridgestone Retail Operations will be shortening the hours of operation at all our stores.
We remain committed to our communities nationwide, especially to those required to be on the road providing essential public services during this time.
We encourage everyone to continue taking proactive measures to ensure the health and safety of themselves and all those around them.

At Bridgestone Retail Operations, we strive to be the most trusted provider of tire automotive service in every neighborhood we serve. As such, we are closely monitoring the global COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation via the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, and with local, state, and federal health administrations.
To date, we have taken a number of proactive measures to help ensure the health and safety of customers and employees across all 2,200 of our company-owned Firestone Complete Auto Care, Tires Plus, Hibdon Tires Plus and Wheel Works store locations.
We have established a cross-functional team to assess the best prevention methods across our locations and are taking additional preventative measures to help stop the potential spread of COVID-19 within our locations. Some of these measures include:
Handwashing protocols with an increased focus on washing between each customer transaction.
Steering wheel covers, where present, will be used on all vehicles entering the bay.
Hand sanitizer, where available, will be utilized throughout our store locations for customers and teammates.
Disposable gloves will be used by our customer service teams and technicians as needed.
Our employees have also been asked to stay home should they not feel well enough to come to work. We would also like to encourage our customers to think through how they can minimize risk as well. If you or a loved one aren’t feeling well, give us a call and we will happily reschedule your appointment to another day.
Rest assured, the safety of our employees and customers remains our top priority. The steps noted above are to protect both our employees and customers while remaining open for the communities we serve.
